Cathedral Window

This is my first attempt. It is clumsy. Any suggestions for turning out perfect cathedral windows are most welcome.

Lovely blog. You can improve on your patchwork by going to quilting sites, like about.com, where the tutorials are very good. Your other needlework displays are very good. Keep up the good work.

Bhavani, if the Cathedral Window is your first attempt at Patchwork, you have chosen a very difficult design! Why not have a look at the other blocks that are commonly used in patchwork, and try some of the easier ones, such as Dresden Plate, Log Cabin, Churn Dash, and so on? I haven't tried Cathedral Windows yet, and by the look of it, I think I will leave it for the more experienced quilters! You don't want to end up with another UFO, do you?? (LOL - thank you for your comment on my blog about UFOs!)
